An easy and nostalgic treat combining crispy cornflakes, creamy peanut butter, and chocolate for a delightful sweet snack.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cornflakes
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prep the Ingredients: Gather all ingredients and have them measured and ready.
  2. Heat the Mixture: Combine corn syrup and sugar in a large pot over medium heat, stirring constantly until it boils (about 5 minutes).
  3. Mix in Peanut Butter: Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  4. Combine with Cornflakes: Pour mixture over cornflakes in a bowl, gently stir to coat.
  5. Spread & Set: Spread mixture onto a lined baking sheet, pressing down evenly.
  6. Melt the Chocolate: Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the cooled cornflake mixture.
  7. Cool & Break: Let cool completely before breaking into pieces to serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. You can also refrigerate them for longer freshness.
