Easy Garlic Butter Broccolini

A simple and flavorful side dish made with tender-crisp broccolini tossed in garlic butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccolini
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to boil and season it with salt.
  2. Blanch the broccolini in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to ice water.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
  4. Add blanched broccolini, toss to coat, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with lemon juice if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Make sure your butter is at room temperature for easier melting. You can use garlic-infused olive oil for a quicker alternative.
