Homemade Christmas Tree Cakes

Delightful, festive cakes shaped like Christmas trees, perfect for celebrating the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • Green food coloring (gel)
  • 1 container of whipped frosting
  • Red and green sprinkles
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add green food coloring until desired color is reached.
  4. Grease and flour a Christmas tree-shaped cake pan.
  5. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, frost the cake with whipped frosting.
  8. Decorate with red and green sprinkles.
  9. Slice and serve.

Notes

Store at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Cakes can be frozen for 2-3 months.
