Homemade Honey Butter

  • 1 pound (2 cups) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup 100% pure maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the butter into 2-inch pieces and place in a bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a whisk attachment.
  2. Whisk on low speed to smooth and loosen the butter.
  3. Gradually increase the speed to medium and drizzle in the honey and syrup while continuing to whisk until fully combined.
  4. Add the kosher salt and whisk on medium-high speed until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the honey butter to an airtight container and refrigerate.
