Pepperoni Pizza Bites

Mini pizza bombs stuffed with pepperoni, mozzarella, and marinara sauce, baked until golden and served with warm pizza sauce for dipping. These irresistible pull-apart bites are perfect for game day, parties, or a fun family snack.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 12 slider rolls or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup marinara sauce or pizza sauce
  • 24 slices of pepperoni
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Optional: Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate or oven-safe skillet.
  2. Roll dough into 12-inch circle. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  3. Cut into 24 squares. Place 1 tsp marinara, 2-3 pepperoni slices, and 1 tbsp mozzarella in each center.
  4. Gather dough edges to enclose fillings, forming balls. Arrange seam-side down in prepared dish.
  5. Brush tops with melted butter mixture (butter + Parmesan + garlic powder).
  6. Bake 18-20 minutes until golden. Sprinkle with parsley.
  7. Serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.

Notes

  • Spicy version: Add red pepper flakes or use spicy pepperoni
  • Freezing: Freeze unbaked on tray, then transfer to bags (add 5 mins to bake time)
  • Alternative cooking: Air fry at 375°F for 10 minutes
