Delightful bite-sized cheesecakes adorned with a spooky chocolate spider web, perfect for Halloween gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo Cookies
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 16 ounces Full-Fat Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 4 ounces Semi-Sweet or Bittersweet Chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut Oil or Vegetable Oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a standard 12-cup muffin tin with liners.
  2. Pulse the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter until moistened.
  3. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of each muffin liner and bake for 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth and gradually add the sugar.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the sour cream and vanilla until just combined.
  6. Fill each crust with the cheesecake batter and bake for 20-22 minutes.
  7. Cool in the oven for 1 hour, then let sit at room temperature for another hour and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. Melt the chocolate with coconut oil and cool slightly for the spider web design.
  9. Pipe the melted chocolate on top of the cheesecakes to create a spider web effect.
  10. Chill for an additional 15-20 minutes before serving.

Notes

These cheesecakes can be made up to 3 days in advance; decorate just before serving for a fresh look.
