Irresistible 3 Ingredient Fruit Cake

A simple, nostalgic fruit cake made with just three ingredients: mixed dried fruits, self-raising flour, and orange juice. Perfect for any occasion!

  • 3 cups mixed dried fruit (raisins, currants, apricots, etc.)
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the 3 cups of mixed dried fruit, 1 cup of self-raising flour, and 1 cup of orange juice. Stir until well-coated and incorporated.
  3. Transfer the batter into a greased 8-inch baking pan.
  4. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, ensure ingredients are at room temperature before starting. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
