Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears fresh corn, husks removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter (for serving)
  • Fresh chopped parsley or cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Brush each ear of corn lightly with olive oil or melted butter.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and optional seasonings, rolling to coat evenly.
  4. Place corn in air fryer basket in single layer (may need to cook in batches).
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until kernels are tender and slightly charred.
  6. Remove from air fryer and immediately brush with softened butter.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with lime wedges if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, soak corn in cold water for 10 minutes before cooking
  • Try different seasonings: chili powder, Parmesan, or everything bagel seasoning
  • Leave 1-2 layers of husk on for a more steamed effect (add 2 minutes cook time)
  • Works great with frozen corn (no thawing needed, add 2-3 minutes cook time)
  • For spicy version, mix butter with hot sauce or chipotle powder
