Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-oz) salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. If using skin-on salmon, make 2-3 shallow slits in the skin to prevent curling.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the honey mustard mixture evenly over the top and sides of each salmon fillet.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Place salmon in the air fryer basket, leaving space between fillets. For skin-on salmon, place skin-side down.
  6. Air fry for 6-8 minutes (depending on thickness), until salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F (63°C) internally.
  7. Garnish with fresh dill or parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • For best results, use salmon fillets of even thickness (about 1-inch thick)
  • Adjust cook time: 6 minutes for medium-rare, 8 minutes for well-done
  • Make it spicy by adding 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper to the glaze
  • For meal prep: Cooked salmon keeps well refrigerated for 2 days
  • Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad
