Air Fryer Roasted Apple Chunks

Delightful air fryer roasted apple chunks with a sweet caramelized layer and soft interior, perfect for a quick snack or breakfast topping.

Ingredients

  • 4 Apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith)
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Sugar (or coconut sugar/maple syrup)
  • 1 tbsp Butter (or coconut oil for dairy-free)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Core and chop the apples into 1-2 inch chunks.
  3. In a bowl, toss the apple chunks with cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Place apple chunks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Serve warm, optionally over oatmeal or yogurt.

Notes

For best results, always select ripe apples without bruising. If caramelization is lacking, cook for a couple more minutes.
