The Ultimate Dreamy Ambrosia Salad

A delicious and nostalgic ambrosia salad filled with colorful fruits and creamy textures, perfect for family gatherings or personal indulgence.

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple tidbits, drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, halved and drained
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine mini marshmallows, mandarin oranges, pineapple tidbits, and sour cream. Stir gently until well mixed.
  2. Add sweetened shredded coconut, halved maraschino cherries, and whipped topping. Fold until everything is well coated.
  3. If using, fold in chopped pecans.
  4. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight).
  5. Before serving, give the salad a gentle stir and serve chilled.
