Heavenly Apple Brown Sugar Muffins

Delightful muffins that are the perfect balance of sweet and tart, featuring caramelized apples and a moist, tender texture.

  • 2 cups (240 g) All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup (200 g), packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Milk
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) Unsalted Butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 1/2 cups Diced Apples (about 2 medium apples)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, then whisk in milk and melted butter.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in diced apples until evenly distributed in the batter.
  7. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  8. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of vanilla extract to the wet ingredients.
