Bacon Pickle Pizza

A unique pizza combining the savory taste of bacon with the tangy crunch of pickles, all on a creamy cheese base.

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 slices cooked bacon (crumbled)
  • 1 cup pickles (sliced)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon dill
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the pizza dough instructions (usually around 475°F/245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and transfer it to a pizza stone or greased baking sheet.
  3. Brush the dough with olive oil.
  4. Dollop and spread the softened cream cheese evenly across the dough.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the cream cheese.
  6. Arrange the pickle slices on top of the bacon.
  7. Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza. Then, add dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool slightly, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

For a crispier crust, pre-bake the dough for 5-7 minutes before adding toppings.
