Irresistible Baked Brie Bread Bowl

A gooey, melty masterpiece of brie cheese encased in a freshly baked bread bowl, topped with crispy prosciutto and honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 round loaf of bread (sourdough or ciabatta recommended)
  • 1 wheel of brie cheese (high-quality)
  • 4 slices of prosciutto (or favorite cured meat)
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the top off the round loaf of bread to create a cap and hollow out the inside.
  3. Place the brie cheese in the center of the bread bowl.
  4. Drape prosciutto over the brie.
  5. Drizzle honey over the top.
  6. Sprinkle fresh herbs if using.
  7. Place the bread bowl on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the brie is soft and the bread is golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with hollowed-out bread pieces for dipping.

Notes

For best results, use a freshly baked loaf of bread. Let the brie come to room temperature before baking for better meltability.
