Baked Brie with Fig Jam and Pecans

A delightful appetizer featuring warm, gooey Brie cheese topped with sweet fig jam and crunchy pecans, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the puff pastry (if using) by rolling it out to 1/8″ thick and placing the Brie in the center.
  3. Spread fig jam generously over the Brie.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  5. Fold the pastry over the cheese and seal tightly.
  6. Brush with egg wash (if using).
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving and garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.

Notes

If you don’t have puff pastry, you can bake the Brie alone for 10-15 minutes.
