Baked Brie in Puff Pastry with Honey, Fig, and Prosciutto

An indulgent and elegant appetizer featuring creamy Brie cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry and topped with honey, fig jam, and prosciutto.

Ingredients

  • 1 round of Brie cheese
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 4 slices of prosciutto
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly flour your countertop and roll out the puff pastry to about a 12-inch square.
  3. Place the Brie in the center of the pastry.
  4. Spread fig jam on top of the Brie, add prosciutto slices, and drizzle with honey.
  5. Fold the pastry over the Brie and seal the edges.
  6. Brush the pastry with egg wash.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Let the Brie come to room temperature before baking. This dish can be assembled a day in advance and stored in the fridge.
