Baked Cream Cheese Chicken Taquitos

Delicious and crispy Baked Cream Cheese Chicken Taquitos, perfect for a quick family meal packed with flavor.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 small flour or corn tortillas
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Take a tortilla, place about 2-3 tablespoons of the filling on one end, and roll tightly. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
  4. Lightly brush the tops of the taquitos with olive oil or cooking spray.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken with taco seasoning or lime juice before mixing. Customize with additional veggies if desired.
