  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed

  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Mix together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and chopped walnuts in a medium bowl.
  3. Combine the mashed bananas, fresh orange juice, orange zest, sugar, melted butter, beaten egg, and vanilla extract in a large bowl.
  4. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
