  • 16 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Remove and finely chop the stems from the mushrooms and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped mushroom stems, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each mushroom cap generously with the cheese mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the tops are golden brown and mushrooms are tender.
  7. Serve warm as an appetizer.

Best served warm. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
