Best Ever Chicken Carbonara

A rich and creamy Chicken Carbonara that combines crispy turkey bacon and tender chicken for an ultimate comfort meal.

  • 12 oz Fettuccine pasta
  • 4 slices Turkey bacon
  • ½ lb Chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 large Eggs
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ⅓ cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, stirring occasionally. Drain and set aside, reserving about ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy over medium heat (about 5-7 minutes). Remove and chop into pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, add chicken strips seasoned with salt and pepper and cook on medium-high heat for about 6-8 minutes until fully cooked.
  4. Whisk together eggs and Parmesan cheese in a bowl until smooth.
  5. Combine everything: In the skillet, add fettuccine and turkey bacon back with the chicken. Off the heat, pour in the egg mixture and toss gently, using reserved pasta water to adjust the sauce’s creaminess.
  6. Garnish with parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately!

Notes

Ensure to toss pasta and sauce off the heat to avoid scrambling the eggs.
