Big Mac Pasta Salad

A delightful twist on the classic Big Mac, this pasta salad features tender pasta, seasoned ground beef, fresh vegetables, and a creamy dressing reminiscent of the iconic ‘secret sauce.’

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (rotini or elbow)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
  2. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Toss Ingredients Together: In a mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and cheese.
  4. Prepare the Dressing: In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  5. Combine: Pour the dressing over the salad and toss until everything is evenly coated. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, chill for a few hours or overnight. Adjust for acidity if too tangy by adding more mayonnaise.
