Birthday Cake Milkshakes

A fun and festive milkshake that tastes just like birthday cake! Made with vanilla ice cream, cake pieces, and rainbow sprinkles, topped with whipped cream and more sprinkles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vanilla or funfetti dry cake mix
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Light corn syrup

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, milk, cake pieces, rainbow sprinkles, and vanilla extract.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. If too thick, add more milk one tablespoon at a time.
  3. Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream and additional rainbow sprinkles.
  4. Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.

Notes

  • For a richer shake, use birthday cake flavored ice cream.
  • If you don’t have leftover cake, use 2-3 store-bought cupcakes or a slice of bakery cake.
  • Add a splash of almond extract for a more authentic ‘cake batter’ flavor.
  • Best enjoyed immediately as the sprinkles may bleed color if stored.
