Delicious and chewy chocolate brownie cookies, perfect for any occasion and easy to make.

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup additional chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  2. Mix the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth, then stir in the melted chocolate mixture.
  3. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, then gently stir into the wet ingredients.
  4. Fold in additional chocolate chips if using.
  5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Prepare the oven by preheating to 350°F (175°C) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Scoop dough onto the lined baking sheet, ensuring space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, allowing edges to set but centers to remain soft.
  9. Cool for 2-3 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle sea salt before baking. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
