Spooktacular Cemetery Flatbread Pizza

A fun and festive flatbread pizza perfect for Halloween, featuring ghostly mozzarella and cauliflower gravestones.

  • 1 pound flatbread dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup black olives
  • 1 cup cauliflower florets
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Lightly oil a large baking sheet with olive oil.
  3. Roll out the flatbread dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Brush the dough with olive oil.
  5. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  7. Arrange cauliflower florets to mimic gravestones.
  8. Bake for about 8 minutes until cheese begins to melt.
  9. Remove from oven and place mozzarella ghost cutouts on top of melted cheese, pressing black olives into them.
  10. Add olives around the flatbread.
  11. Return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes until the ghosts are oozing and the crust is golden brown.
  12. Let cool slightly, sprinkle with parsley or cilantro, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a crispier crust, ensure your sauce is well-drained before spreading on the dough. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
