Crunchy Cheeseburger Egg Rolls

A delightful fusion of classic cheeseburger flavors wrapped in crispy egg rolls, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or American)
  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, stirring for an additional minute.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before stirring in the shredded cheese.
  4. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, place a couple of tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center.
  5. Fold the corner closest to you over the filling, roll tightly, tuck in the sides, and seal with water.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per roll.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauces.

Notes

Customize with ingredients like jalapeños or swap the beef for veggies. These can also be baked for a healthier option.
