  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Peanut oil or canola oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces in dill pickle juice for at least an hour.
  2. In a bowl, beat the egg and mix in the milk. In another dish, combine flour, confectioners’ sugar, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip marinated chicken in the egg-milk mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken pieces in batches for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer cooked nuggets to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
