Irresistibly Soft & Chewy Christmas Crinkle Cookies

Delightful cookies with a soft, chewy interior and a snowy powdered sugar coating, perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix (any flavor, preferably chocolate or red velvet)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil together until there are no lumps.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough and roll them into balls.
  6. Roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  7. Place the rolled cookies on the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly set.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
