Heavenly Christmas Cupcakes

Delicious and festive Christmas cupcakes, fluffy and moist, perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Red and green sprinkles
  • Frosting, store-bought or homemade

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with festive liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (around 3-5 minutes).
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, adding the vanilla extract after each is fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk until smooth.
  6. Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before frosting.
  9. Decorate with frosting and top with red and green sprinkles.

Notes

For best results, let butter and eggs reach room temperature before starting. Avoid overmixing the batter to keep the cupcakes light and airy.
