Irresistible Christmas Rice Crispy Treats

A festive twist on classic Rice Crispy Treats with colorful sprinkles, bringing joy to your holiday gatherings.

  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 10 oz marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup holiday-themed sprinkles
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, stirring occasionally for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal, gently stirring until well coated, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Fold in the holiday sprinkles evenly.
  6. Allow the mixture to cool slightly (about 5 minutes), then shape into balls or press into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  7. Let cool completely before serving.
