Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix until evenly distributed.
  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and salt to the butter mixture, mixing on low speed until a dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Slightly flatten each ball with a fork or your fingers.
  7. Decorate each cookie with red and green sprinkles.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
