Classic Pumpkin Bread

A cozy classic pumpkin bread recipe perfect for fall gatherings and nostalgic moments.

  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 4 large Eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 2 cups Pumpkin Puree

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients: sift together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
  3. Mix the wet ingredients: whisk together oil, eggs, and water in another bowl until combined.
  4. Combine the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Then gently fold in pumpkin puree.
  5. Pour the batter into your greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for about 55 minutes for a large loaf or 30 minutes for mini loaves, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Cool the bread on a wire rack for at least 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. It can also be refrigerated for up to a week or frozen for up to 3 months.
