Delightful Cranberry Cream Cheese Crescent Bites

Festive bites featuring a creamy cranberry filling, wrapped in flaky crescent dough, perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • Optional: Chopped pecans or orange zest for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease or line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough, cut each triangle in half to make 16 small pieces.
  5. Press each triangle into the muffin cups to form little cups.
  6. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of filling into each cup, followed by 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
  7. If using, sprinkle nuts or zest on top.
  8. Bake for 11-13 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool in the tin before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing. These bites can be frozen unbaked for up to a month.
