Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 round of Brie cheese (812 oz)
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (for garnish, optional)
  • Extra cranberry sauce and chopped pecans (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a square or circle large enough to cover the Brie.
  3. If desired, slice off the top rind of the Brie for a creamier texture.
  4. Place the Brie in the center of the puff pastry. Spread cranberry sauce over the Brie, sprinkle with chopped pecans, and drizzle with honey.
  5. Fold the edges of the puff pastry up over the Brie, sealing gently. Use scraps to decorate the top if desired.
  6. Whisk together the egg and water, brush the mixture over the puff pastry.
  7. Chill the wrapped Brie in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes if desired.
  8. Place the wrapped Brie on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30–40 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Allow to cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh rosemary, extra cranberry sauce, and pecans. Serve warm with crackers or baguette.
