  • 6 strips bacon, diced

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup spinach (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the diced bacon until crispy (about 6-8 minutes).
  2. Remove the bacon and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until softened (3-5 minutes).
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer (about 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions (3-5 minutes).
  5. Incorporate the shredded chicken, heavy cream, and spinach (if using), and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  7. Top with reserved crispy bacon and serve hot.
