Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6-8 oz) lobster tails, split lengthwise
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place lobster tails on a baking sheet.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add white wine, simmer 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, zest, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Spoon sauce over lobster tails, reserving some for serving.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes until lobster is opaque and cooked through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with remaining sauce.

Notes

  • For best results, use cold-water lobster tails (Maine or Canadian)
  • Substitute cognac for white wine for extra richness
  • Serve with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce
  • Don’t overcook – lobster becomes tough when overdone
