Ultimate Creamy Macaroni Salad

A nostalgic family favorite macaroni salad bursting with creamy and tangy flavors, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni until al dente, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper, and mix until smooth.
  3. Add the cooled macaroni, diced celery, onion, bell peppers, and pickle relish to the dressing and fold together.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Garnish with paprika just before serving.

Notes

For best results, let mayonnaise and mustard sit at room temperature before using. This salad is best served within 2-3 days.
