Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 oz cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • ⅓ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook ravioli according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese, stirring until cheese melts and sauce thickens slightly (about 2-3 minutes).
  5. Stir in spinach and sun-dried tomatoes until spinach wilts (about 1-2 minutes).
  6. Add cooked ravioli to the sauce, gently tossing to coat. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and extra Parmesan before serving.

Notes

  • For protein, add cooked chicken or shrimp
  • Vegetarian option: Use vegetable broth and cheese ravioli
  • Make it lighter: Substitute half the cream with whole milk
  • Storage: Best served fresh but keeps 2 days refrigerated (sauce may thicken)
  • For extra richness, stir in 1 tbsp butter at the end
