  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 2 Tablespoons Water
  • Vegetable Oil for Frying

Instructions

  1. Prep the Coating Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Prepare the Egg Wash: In another bowl, beat eggs with 2 tablespoons of water.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Dip chicken breasts into the egg mixture then coat with the flour mixture.
  4. Heat the Oil: In a skillet, heat 1/2 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry the Chicken: Add the coated chicken breasts to the hot oil and fry for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain and Serve: Place fried chicken on a paper towel-lined plate and serve hot.
