Heavenly Deep Fried Marshmallows

Delightfully crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, these deep fried marshmallows are a nostalgic treat that will bring joy to any gathering.

  • 20 Jumbo Marshmallows
  • 1 cup Pancake Mix
  • 1 Large Egg
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • 2 to 3 cups Vegetable Oil (for frying)
  • Whipped Cream (for serving, optional)
  • Chocolate Syrup (for serving, optional)
  • Sprinkles (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat about 3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pot over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pancake mix, egg, milk, and a drizzle of oil until smooth.
  3. Dip each marshmallow into the batter, ensuring it’s evenly coated, and gently shake off excess batter.
  4. Carefully place the coated marshmallows into the hot oil and fry for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, turning occasionally until golden brown.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Add toppings while warm.

Notes

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing. Fry in batches to avoid overcrowding.
