Dill Pickle White Pizza

A unique twist on comfort food featuring dill pickles and a creamy white sauce on pizza.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, minced
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • White sauce
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup sliced or diced dill pickles
  • ½ cup cooked and diced bacon (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Additional fresh dill, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in fresh dill, ranch dressing, and seasoning to taste.
  3. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) using a pizza stone if available.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to a circle roughly 14 inches in diameter.
  5. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet and spread the white sauce over it.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the sauce, followed by pickles, bacon, and spices.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, checking around the 8-minute mark.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving and garnish with fresh dill.

Notes

Use quality ingredients for best flavor; fresh herbs are recommended. Avoid overloading toppings to prevent a soggy crust.
