  • 12 ounces mild beer
  • ¼ cup salted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×5-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together self-rising flour, granulated sugar, and kosher salt until evenly combined.
  3. Slowly pour in the mild beer, stirring until the mixture is almost smooth.
  4. Transfer the dough to the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top. Bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Brush the top with melted butter and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
