Easy Bok Choy with Garlic Sauce

A quick and easy stir-fry dish featuring fresh bok choy in a delicious garlic sauce.

  • 1 pound fresh bok choy
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Wash bok choy thoroughly under cold water and cut into bite-sized pieces, keeping stems and leaves separate.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant and golden brown.
  4. Toss in bok choy stems first, stir-frying for about 2 minutes, then add the leaves and cook for another 2-3 minutes until wilted and crunchy.
  5. Stir in low-sodium soy sauce and sesame oil, cooking for an additional minute.
  6. Transfer to a serving plate and drizzle with extra soy sauce if desired.

Notes

For more vibrant flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of lemon juice before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
