Easy Broccoli Casserole

A comforting and simple broccoli casserole, layered with creamy cheddar and topped with a crunchy breadcrumb crust, perfect for family gatherings.

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter until they are well coated.
  5. Top the broccoli mixture with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.

Notes

For creaminess, consider adding extra cheese to the broccoli mixture. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
