Easy Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

A delightful blend of crispy bacon and perfectly caramelized Brussels sprouts, this dish transforms a simple side into a flavor-packed star of any meal.

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 46 strips thick-cut bacon
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts.
  2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until crispy.
  3. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  4. Add the Brussels sprouts, cut side down, to the skillet, and sauté for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Toss the crispy bacon back into the skillet with the sprouts and mix well before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For extra crispiness, broil the Brussels sprouts for the last few minutes.
