Easy Edible Cookie Dough for One

A quick and easy recipe for delicious and safe-to-eat cookie dough, perfect for satisfying late-night cravings or as a comforting treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (or more if needed)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cream together butter and sugar in a bowl until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Mix in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  3. Gradually stir in heat-treated flour until well combined.
  4. Add milk to reach your desired consistency.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This dough can also be frozen for up to 1 month.
