Easy Sausage and Egg Casserole

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups bread cubes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers
  • ½ cup chopped spinach
  • ¼ cup diced onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat for 5-7 minutes and drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until combined.
  4. Layer the cooked sausage, vegetables, and cheese in the baking dish, add bread cubes, and pour the egg mixture over the top.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
