French Dip Tortilla Roll Ups

All the flavors of a classic French Dip sandwich in easy-to-eat tortilla roll-ups, perfect for parties or game day with homemade au jus for dipping.

Ingredients

4 (12-inch) flour tortillas

4 slices provolone cheese

½ pound deli sliced roast beef

¾ cup French fried onions

1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Au Jus (Dipping Sauce):

1 can (10.5 ounces) beef consommé

¾ cup water

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon soy sauce

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In small bowl, mix mayonnaise, horseradish sauce, Worcestershire, and garlic powder.
  2. Spread about 1 tbsp sauce mixture evenly over each tortilla.
  3. Layer each with roast beef slices, provolone cheese, and sprinkle with green onions.
  4. Roll up tightly and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 1 hour to firm.
  5. Make au jus: Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Simmer 10 minutes.
  6. Cut rolls into 1-inch pinwheels. Serve with warm au jus for dipping.

Notes

  • For crispier rolls, bake at 375°F for 8-10 minutes before slicing
  • Substitute Swiss cheese for provolone if preferred
  • Add sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor
  • Can be made 24 hours ahead – slice just before serving
