Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Alfredo Tortellini

A delightful combination of tender steak bites simmered in garlic butter paired with creamy Alfredo tortellini, perfect for family dinners or date nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • lbs steak bites (Sirloin or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 3 tbsp butter (unsalted)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated or frozen cheese tortellini
  • 2 tbsp butter (salted or unsalted)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add tortellini and cook according to package instructions (2-3 minutes for fresh or 5-7 minutes for frozen). Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Steak Bites: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from pan, leaving the garlic butter.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce: Lower the heat, add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Gradually whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Toss cooked tortellini into the Alfredo sauce, ensuring each piece is coated.
  5. Assemble and Serve: Plate tortellini and arrange steak bites on top. Drizzle with reserved garlic butter and garnish with parsley or extra Parmesan.

Notes

Butter should be at room temperature for easy melting. Fresh herbs like parsley or basil enhance the dish’s flavor.
