  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (dark or light)
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Generously rub the spice mixture onto both sides of the pork chops.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Place the pork chops in the skillet and sauté for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
