  • 1500 grams beef sirloin steak, cut into 15 cm cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 red onion, cut into pieces
  • 1 zucchini, sliced thickly
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Wood or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef: Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Reserve 1/4 cup for basting. Add beef cubes to remaining marinade, cover, and refrigerate 2-24 hours.
  2. Prep grill: Preheat grill to medium-high (400°F/200°C).
  3. Skewer: Thread beef alternately with vegetables onto skewers.
  4. Grill: Cook skewers 8-10 minutes total, turning every 2 minutes, until beef reaches desired doneness (125°F/52°C for medium-rare). Baste with reserved marinade during last 2 minutes.
  5. Rest: Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

  • Wooden skewers: Soak in water 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Oven option: Broil on high rack 6-8 minutes, turning once.
